Wellness Resources

At the GSA, we see wellness as more than support in difficult moments. It is about cultivating a graduate student community where everyone feels seen, supported, and valued. We are committed to fostering a culture of inclusion, belonging, and connection, because well-being thrives in spaces where people know they matter.

Graduate school can be deeply rewarding, but it can also be demanding, isolating, and overwhelming at times. No one should have to navigate those challenges alone. The University of Waterloo offers a range of supports for students’ physical health, mental well-being, and academic access, including Campus Wellness, Counselling Services, and AccessAbility Services.

Wellness Resources

As a graduate student community, we want to encourage care not only for ourselves, but for one another. Wellness is strengthened through community building, compassion, and creating spaces where all students feel they belong. The GSA encourages graduate students to reach out, stay connected, and make use of the supports available. Seeking help is a sign of strength, and you are not alone.
